Dr. Sasilekha Nair was crowned as Mrs. Grand Universe 2021

 Dr. Sasilekha Nair was crowned as Mrs. Grand Universe 2021. She is former Mrs. Asia International Charming and Mrs. India Kerala .

Pageant was supposed to be held at Manila, Philippines but due to the pandemic it was conducted online this year. Organizers sent the crown from Manila, Philippines . Dr. Sasilekha Nair was crowned by Mrs. D. Roopa IPS in Bengaluru on 26thNovember 2021.

Dr. Sasilekha Nair is a Graduate in Microbiology and also hold a Post Graduate in English Literature. She has been awarded Honorary Doctorate in Humanities by St.  Mother Theresa University. She is an entrepreneur, Bharatanatyam dancer and a mother of two. Based out in Bengaluru she is the CEO of an IT firm. She is a Syndicate Member of St. Mother Theresa university..She is also part of an International human rights association. 

Few causes that she would like to put some effort for the benefit of the society. She terms Dr APJ Abdul Kalam as the greatest inspiration of her life.She wants to continue her work in education. She feels education can break the cycle of poverty. Nutritious food and proper education are the two things we should provide for the children in the impoverished areas. The second cause that she is keen is that her work in promoting Indian art. As a Bharatanatyam dancer she would like to concentrate more into this dance form and transfer to the younger generation. With her Title she can reach out to more people through leading organizations and work towards many social causes to inspire and motivate women across the world. As an International Tittle holder she can work towards the social well-being regardless of race , colour, creed , nationality and gender. .
