 The New Maruti Grand Vitara is available with 1.5-litre intelligent electric hybrid and 1.5-litre next-gen K-series dual jet, dual VVT engine with progressive smart hybrid technology. The intelligent hybrid engine produces 91bhp – 114 and 122Nm of torque in the petrol mode and combined with an electric motor it generates 114bhp. This engine gets an e-CVT unit and returns a fuel efficiency figure of 27.97kmpl.

Top-of-the-line trim of the new Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara will also be offered with an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system. Maruti has utilized the global C- Platform to build a mid-size SUV that will be unveiled. The mid-size SUV market is seeing growth in India with car buyers.
